Sale Shopping

I am the first to admit I am a huge bargain hunter, and I shop far too much! I'm not one of those crazy awake at 5am on Boxing Day shoppers but I do like going on the first day of the sales. I didn't get loads, just a few little bits and pieces, which I probably didn't need!

I made a Lush order first, I'm really surprised I managed it - the Lush website is notoriously bad on Boxing Day, but here it is. There wasn't much in the sale but as there isn't a Lush near me I try/buy very little Lush so the only thing here I've tried before is Snow Fairy! Everything above was half price and they even threw in a free face mask - thumbs up from me!

I've been eyeing this blusher duo up ever since it came out last year, I was very happy to pick it up for £6 (from Topshop) and I can't wait to try it out. I saw these make up brushes in Jack Wills for £4 each and thought I'd try them out as they seem of reasonable quality - you can never have too many eye shadow brushes!

I found this Topshop spike bracelet for £4 instead of £8. You can't really tell from the picture but it's gold with alternating petrol like duo chrome spikes. The bag was £6 from New Look instead of £15, the ring was £1 from River Island down from £3 and this nail polish in 'Hypnotic' I bagged for £3 rather than £6. Bargains galore!

How pretty is this ring?! It was £4.25 from Topshop, I think 90% of my jewellery is made up of the Topshop sale!

These were my best sale buy of the year, it was just fate. I was shocked to find these in my Topshop as they didn't stock the J.W Anderson pieces, saw they were £30 instead of £50, tried them on and they fit beautifully took them to the till to find out they'd gone down to £15!!! So happy I got them :)

October Purchases!

I find October is always a rather frivolous month when it comes to spending, I tend to buy enough to tide me over until Christmas, before all the serious gift shopping begins! Speaking of Christmas I'm still undecided about what I'd like... What do you want for Christmas?

New and Shiny

Hello everyone :) I went into town the other day and picked up a few bits and thought I'd share them with you all!

01. Took advantage of the 3 for 2 on all make up in Boots - such a good deal! It's also 3 for 2 on all hair care if you're interested. As you can see I picked up the two new special effects polishes and a coral lipstick which is in shade 53.

02. Testing out the pink shatter effects, of course I just could test it out on just one colour! Which is your favourite combination? I think I like the pink on top of the blue.

03. And then testing out the blue on the other hand. I think I prefer the pink!

04. An article on Alexander McQueen in the latest issue of the Asos magazine which I enjoyed reading, anyone else read it?

05. Two new tops! I literally can not wait to show you all the horse print one, I completely fell in love with it the moment I set eyes on it :D I have some good ideas for new outfits now so stay tuned for those!

Just before I go to bed, I might not be as active over the next week because my art deadline is the 11th May, as much as I'd love to blog, the work is weighing me down. Sorry! Afterwards though, I shall be all yours.

Haul

First of all I'd like to say a big thank you to all of you lovely people for following and reading my blog.. I'm on 92 followers, eeek! It makes me really happy :)

Secondly, as most bloggers do when they reach 100, would you guys like to see some sort of giveaway? If so, what sort of things would you like to possibly win? (I don't want to spend a load of money btw!) 


Back to as scheduled, I did a bit of shopping over the weekend and I got some things I'm pleased with, after my rather unsuccessful trip to Bluewater the other weekend.

Key Necklace - New Look Sale £1. Some of you will know that I love keys for some odd reason - I'm not so sure about the colours of these but for a pound I thought you couldn't really go wrong!

Mini Storage Drawers - eBay. I used to have a set of these.. But I melted them for an art project because I thought I would never use them, now six months on I regret melting them!

Jack Wills badges - I'm a member of the 'Jack Wills Outlet' which has all old JW stock, usually for half the price. Whenever I order something I always get a few badges too because they're only about 50p! I've built up a nice collection now :)

New Look Blouse - I had a 20% voucher (which you can get in the New Look magazines by the counter) so I thought I'd put it to good use. I was going to get one of these but this one is a bit more exciting!

Jack Wills Outlet - I'm was quite annoyed when I received this because the picture showed something quite different! I was thinking of sending it back but then I realised I don't have a basic pink top.

Jack Wills Outlet Socks - I thought these were cute, they're longer than I expected though I think I'll have to wait until winter.
