Dixi: Sneak Peek

I've recently been spending a fair amount of time browsing Dixi, mainly looking at all their magical, pretty, sparkly rings and their dainty knuckle rings. Dixi sent me a preview of their new collection, arriving tomorrow - 27th January at about 10am (so not long to wait!) I just had to share a few of my favourite pieces with you :)

Everything above is brand new (except for the gold and silver knuckle rings, which are only £3 for both, bargain!) My favourite piece is the cross bangle, I love how simple it is yet it's also quite statement. I can envisage it with a black chunky knit and a pleather skirt! I also really love the two rings in the centre, below the jumper, I bet they have so much depth and sparkle to them in real life! The blue one would look amazing with anything galaxy.

Wish List #15

All from Miss Selfridge

Originally, I was browsing for pretty pastel items on various sites to do a pastel wish list, but then I found all this amazing jewellery on the Miss Selfridge website. Definitely leaps and bounds ahead of Topshop jewellery currently. The pieces are incredibly unique and not badly priced either considering what they are. It was kind of like scrolling through Tumblr but you could actually buy the items instead of just lust after them! My favourite piece is probably the earring/hair piece chain (the second one). What's yours?

I felt I was long overdue a wish list, and couldn't help but notice all the exceptionally lovely jewellery they have in Topshop at the minute. I'm definitely going to try and get these in the sale - I only pay the full price for Topshop jewellery if I really want it because it's all so ridiculously overpriced!

The Magpie

Magpie - Fountain pen and Indian ink

 I'm currently doing part of my art project on nests. I'm looking at magpies and the way they steal jewellery and the folklore surrounding them. Recently I've been a bit of a magpie myself - stalking a good majority of the jewellery in the shops at the moment! I went to Primark in search of nail foils - I was unsuccessful and instead ended up finding these earrings:

Back in the Summer, I nabbed these from Topshop for £2 (in the sale) as well. Spot the difference anyone?! I'm quite please I can have pairs now :)

I think these will end up being some of my most worn jewellery - I've got to sort out the backs for them though, they are so tight! On that note, here is some my favourite jewellery!

Jewellery Wishlist

I've seen so much jewellery that I love recently, too much in fact. All from Topshop mainly!

* There's loads more jewellery that I want from Topshop, it just doesn't seem to be online though :\

* A few pieces in this wishlist I'm not sure about (3,4 and 10) because I think I need to see them in the flesh. I have a feeling #3 and 4 could be hideous!

* As you may be able to tell I'm liking keys and padlocks!

* Regarding #8, I've been thinking about these friendship bracelets for a while, I can't really decide if I like them or not? What do you guys think>

* #6 would be perfect for when I find an inspired YSL Arty ring that I like. It's proving extremely difficult!
