Primark Buys

Sorry for the absence (again!) I've been away camping, so I've had no internet, which was rather blissful, coming back to all these riots however was not so - I hope you're all doing okay wherever you may be.

On Monday, I dragged my mum up to London for some intensive shopping on Oxford Street to part with some of my birthday dosh, so here's what I got...

Black Waterfall Top: £4

Padlock and Key Earrings: £1

Double Fingered Key Ring: £2

Pink and Purple Double Ended Make-Up Brushes: £1.50 each.

I also got these babies, which means I finally own a pair of block heels. Overall, a very bargainous and successful shopping trip I feel. I'm looking forward to trying out the make up brushes, have you ever tried any Primark make up?

Hey everyone! I'm officially back now. All the college work is completely over and I managed to get most of it done and submitted on time, I have to go in for a few things over the coming weeks but it's nothing major. I went to London on Thursday for an intense day of shopping and then I saw Everything Everything in the evening who were excellent!

Here are a few purchases (all from Primark) it all came to £14.50 - bargain!

I also managed to get my hands on the Electric Teal nail polish freebie from Instyle Magazine. It's nice as I don't have a colour like this, it decided to chip in my index finger and thumb though after a day and a half. Still, not bad though. I don't think I'd pay the usual £11 price tag.

Wish list #8

Just had to squeeze this post in, I'm missing blogging! I got a mountain of work done today so thought I'd give myself a little break. I hope everyone's revision/coursework/artwork is all going well too if you're stuck in the same situation! So, I haven't posted a wish list for a while - guess I haven't had too much time to look really. I've had a pair of brown brogues stuck in my head for ages though, I haven't found the perfect ones anywhere.

1. An odd looking image of this H&M skirt. It's time to give my black tube skirt a break I figured!

2. I was going to get some Converse but I always think Converse look a bit strange on my feet?! These are cheaper anyway, I'm not completely decided on the colour either, I've got a thing for yellow at the moment but maybe I should just get the off white pair? What do you guys think?

3. Stacking rings which remind me of the YSL arty enamel ring. 

4. A definite YSL arty ring inspired piece!

5. Pack of mixed earrings, I really like the mini crosses, they're cute.

A few things which I want but haven't got pretty pictures and links to are:

I very nearly got these shorts too, but I had to stop myself. The colour is so gorgeous and they're only £15! Also they're Levi's. They aren't something I really see myself wearing to be honest no matter how amazing they are!

I'm off to London on Thursday, I'm planning on making a trip to the Topshop Outlet, I really hope it doesn't disappoint - has anyone been there? Yeah, so all of these little desires could easily change!

The Magpie

Magpie - Fountain pen and Indian ink

 I'm currently doing part of my art project on nests. I'm looking at magpies and the way they steal jewellery and the folklore surrounding them. Recently I've been a bit of a magpie myself - stalking a good majority of the jewellery in the shops at the moment! I went to Primark in search of nail foils - I was unsuccessful and instead ended up finding these earrings:

Back in the Summer, I nabbed these from Topshop for £2 (in the sale) as well. Spot the difference anyone?! I'm quite please I can have pairs now :)

I think these will end up being some of my most worn jewellery - I've got to sort out the backs for them though, they are so tight! On that note, here is some my favourite jewellery!
