Long time no blog! I was hoping to get a few more posts up sooner but I didn't anticipate how tired I'd be after a week of rainy camping in Guernsey (with no internet, or even electricity may I point out!) I'm back into my routine now so all should be back to normal as of now!

Pastel Blur

I wore this outfit the other night when I had an informal meeting, which was pretty boring and I'm not looking forward to the next one on Monday! I rediscovered this lilac-y pink lipstick in my make up draw the other day so I thought I'd give it a go. I like the way it looks up close but further away I think it makes my lips look dead! I was worried I might have overdone the pastel trend but I think the jeans break it up nicely. Apologies for the excessive amount of Topshop in this outfit - I didn't realise!

TGIF! It's been quite a busy week and it really didn't help that I managed to catch some sort of sickness bug on Wednesday night, I still powered on through Thursday though feeling alright, then the mistake came when I decided to go out last night. Bad idea! I'm now recovering in bed by Blogging and catching up on Youtube videos!

Lots of changes today... Turns out my Blogger layout changed to the new one last night, not overly keen (it all looks very clinical) but it looks like something I'll get used to! Hopefully this post will turn out alright. Picnik closed yesterday too so I was expecting a bit of hassle with that, but I've just used it as normal?! Ohh, I can't keep up with all these changes! Ice Cream Nails

As I seem to lack pastel clothing (I don't know why this is?!) I have to make do with pastel nail varnishes! I've spied a few pastel knits on the New Look website, so maybe a cheeky trip to town is in order!

I'm off now to go and paint some 'Cath Kidston inspired' nails! But before I go, have you heard about MAC changing their animal testing policy? I think it's awful that in this day and age, with huge advances in technology that companies feel the need to test on animals. I'm pretty sure that if budget brands can manage without it, a high end make up brand can too.

Amongst all the pastel shades at the moment I also love all of the candy and fruity pieces going on too. Of course I had to throw in a a few pastels too ;)

My favourite item are the brogues, surprisingly they're only £20! They look quite good quality, hopefully I'll be able to find them in store and have a better look at them. I also love the Missguided bag and the pink striped jeans.. So nice! What's your favourite item?

After composing this wish list, it's official that I can not wait for Spring! As much as I love layering up in the Winter and being snug as a bug, pastel colours are just so so pretty. My favourite item from the above has to be the lilac jeans from New Look, they're only £23 and come in lots of different colours which I wouldn't mind owning too! What's your favourite piece?

Pretty Pastels

I adore these nail paints by Barry M, literally can't get enough of them, I can't wait for Spring and then it'll look far more appropriate! Actually, today showed signs of Spring, there was some gorgeous sunshine which I've missed a lot. It was still flipping freezing though :\

L > R: Berry Ice cream, Strawberry I/C, Blueberry I/C and Mint Green

On my thumbnail which you can see if you look carefully, I used the green and blue. I just need the yellow pastel to complete the collection! I think I'd prefer an orangey pastel colour though but I don't think Barry M do one.

Alsooo, my topcoat has gone gloopy so I couldn't put one on, anyone know any good cheap top coats? I'll probably just get the Barry M one.
