January Fashion Favourites

Hi guys :) A few things I've been liking throughout January, and things I've been trying to resist spending my money on!

We have the oh so stunning Cara Delevingne to thank for this little trend circling round at the moment. A lot of people fell in love with her Bart Simpson jumper when she wore it. I'm not really a fan of the Simpsons but I really do like this print!

I think every shop related email I've had this year has had monochrome in it. It's monochrome madness! This trend has made me realise I seriously lack white clothing, I'd love to get a white blazer with black lapels - oh so chic! A monochrome outfit with red lips is the way forward.

Hooray! It's not far off Spring which means an abundance of pastels! The first jumper is so pretty, I want it. I'm planning on starting a little pastel jumper collection :)

Printed/slogan tops aren't anything new but I've seen so many I like recently! I've got some transfer paper ready and waiting on my eBay watch list and then I'm off to Primark next weekend to get some cheap tees, so watch out for a DIY post. Let's hope our ancient printer can behave!

December Favourites

My last fashion favourites of 2012.. I can't wait to see what the shops have to offer in 2013!

Pleather skirts. Since I bought a skater skirt with pleather detailing on it, I want the real deal now. I think they look amazing with a chunky knit - I love the clash of textures.

December is a month were it's completely acceptable to go crazy with sparkles and glitter! I wish every month was like that..

I've always loved House of Holland but recently it's been "gimme, gimme anything HOH inspired I can get my mitts on"! I've been browsing lots of sales to see if I can snap up a bargain as well as looking at the new S/S '13 collection.

I blame the girl in Topshop I saw wearing a cute little tartan skirt for this one. I'm not overly fussed about tartan but that first outfit in particular makes me want some tartan in my wardrobe!

What impeccable style the first lady has! I'd so dress like that every day if I could. I've been enjoying the khaki/military/utility/whatever-you-want-to-call-it trend for a while now, it looks great with a bit of leather to really toughen an outfit up.

After extensively looking for this polka dot skirt, I think it made my brain go a bit dotty because now I'm suddenly drawn to anything polka dotted I see in a shop!

Woop, Christmas party season is upon us! (I've been eyeing up dresses for far too long now) so now I better get my bottom in gear and actually decide on a dress! I'm either thinking a spar princess dress or a long sleeve bodycon. What's your Christmas dress going to be?

Speaking of Christmas, everyone needs a good old novelty knit. I've particularly been enjoying the light up ones on eBay...! Check out this one, it's shocking!

And with the colder weather comes the knitwear, yay for cosy times! Winter's not all bad, guys. The chunkier the better in my opinion, with either a statement necklace or a shirt collar poking out :)

I've really liked wearing this forest green colour this month, I never wear green so it's been a nice change.

There was a lack of chunky chain necklaces on the high street when I wanted one so I headed to my local charity shop and picked one up for £3. Definitely go to charity shops if you want one!

I've always loved cats but lately there seems to have be an influx of kitty cats. Not that I'm complaining - look at how cute those tights are!

I love the leather trims and panels Autumn usually brings, but this year leather panelling seems to have stepped up a notch.

I'm quite big on accessories as they can make an outfit look entirely different, without having to spend a lot of money. These metal belts really add something to an outfit!

I nearly bought a little biker jacket from Primark the other day but there are so many around I'm stuck for choice! I do love the studded one though

Recently I've been preferring gold over silver, especially when it's with black!

I also want to add studded clutch bags to this list but I seem to have misplaced the pictures for it! But I particularly like this one.

Also, sorry for being a bit MIA recently, I've done that thing where you manage to fit about a weeks worth of things into 3/4 days! I don't think I stopped for 5 days. It was all worth it though! I will get round to publishing and replying to all your comments tomorrow :)

July Favourites

Seven months of 2012 gone and we've only had about two weeks worth of sun! Take me to Turkey immediately. It's not all bad though as now I know exactly what I want (clothes wise) for the Autumn!

I've dubbed these 'Landscape Leggings' as I'm not sure what else to call them! Printed maybe? Printed sounds a bit plain though, which by far, they are not. My favourite pairs are the two either end - what are yours?

I've just ordered this top (which I've wanted for a while) so I scooped it up in the sale for £7! Of course, this open shouldered top has now led to me wanting more!

This month I rediscovered just how amazing neon nail polishes actually are. I've always loved 'Bubblegum' by Models Own (as seen here) but I decided to branch out and try Beach Party also by Models Own which is equally fantastic, next on my hit list is a neon green!

These shoes completely BAFFLE me! How do you not just topple backwards?! I'm desperate to try a pair on, they're really weird yet so cool.

Bralets have been around floating around for a while now - I got one a few years ago when the 'underwear as outerwear' was around except I've always felt it's just too bra-like to wear out. I love the huge selection I've seen of bralets this year!

Decided not to do 'Blogmas' today because I feel the Christmas spark has now gone! Also this post doesn't really have any relevance to Christmas...
