Santa & His Reindeer

Christmas nails have got to be my favourite nail art from all of the seasons, there's no limit on glitter! I've got a whole host of ideas for the days leading up to Christmas, so welcome to the first installment.
Products used: Models Own; Snow White, Nude Beige & Black Magic
Barry M; Red
Brown Nail Art Pen; eBay
Do you like them? There's something about reindeer nails which I just think is so cute! They weren't too tricky to do either - start with a semi circle in a brown colour for the head, add little ears using a nail art brush, paint a black circle for the nose and use a dotting tool for the eyes. Finish off using a nail art pen in black or brown for the antlers!

Blogmas Day 2: Cheeky Purchases

Today, I'm sharing with you those cheeky pre Christmas purchases you all know you shouldn't buy, but you do! Generally, justified with '...But it's Christmas!' Pretty sure we've all been there before.
Snowflake Leggings: New Look
OOTD coming soon!
Pants: Rampant Sporting
Couldn't resist 30% off, and look how gorgeous the bag is!
Cat Ears Ring: eBay
My mum puts crackers on the Christmas Tree for my brother I and here's what came out!
Tights: Primark
Finally got some starry tights :) I've heard a lot about the Super Cosy ones too so I thought I'd pick them up.
Bracelet: Olympia Horse Show stall
Gotta love a knock off. Saved me massive bucks!
Necklace: Primark
I've wanted one of these for a long time now. It was a bit of a steal at £4, considering it actually works too :D
Top: Primark
This was just too cute to pass up. Officially love dalmatians!
What are you naughty last minute purchases?

Blogmas Day 1: Decorations

I've decided to blog for twelve days; six days before and after Christmas. I'm christening it 'Blogmas' - how inventive of me :P Today I thought I would share with you some of the Christmas decorations that we have up at the moment, I've got to put up a few more tomorrow!
Some animation skills there, tehe!
And above is the chocolate I made at the Chocolate factory which I mentioned in my last post. Unfortunately, only the Christmas tree now remains!

So there's Blogmas Day 1 over - with only 8 minutes to spare! Phew.

Christmas Nails!

So, here are ye olde Christmas nails I mentioned in my last post. I decided to do a set of false nails instead of using my real nails so I could just whack 'em on whenever a Christmassy event comes my way! Falsies are much easier to paint too :) The design ideas are from all over the place, WAH Nails, Google, Effiesmakeupbox or just some little design I've thought of.

I have no idea why I decided to take the pictures for these in two different places - I wish I would think a bit more sometimes! Anyhow, which one is your favourite?

Wish List #13

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6
Whilst searching the internet (trying to decide what I want for Christmas!) I've stumbled upon a lot of really cute gift sets which I wouldn't mind getting hold of myself. I also thought these would good things if you're a bit stuck for gift ideas, all of which are under £28.50! I think I'm going to be asking Father Christmas for something from the MAC glitter and ice collection ;)

Cooler than me

Went into town today - not really sure why, it was quite spontaneous. My gramps has recently retired and he was fine during the summer where he could potter around in the garden, but in the cold weather he's bored! He went round Tesco's with my mum the other day and shopping certainly isn't his favourite thing... So into town we popped.
Initially I wanted to get my hair cut because its seriously dead atm! That sort of went out the window, so did our shopping plans.
Mum: "Lets walk through Topshop to get to Boots"
Me: "Sounds good! I'll have a sneak peek..."
Half an hour later we're in the queue, lol.

Topshop skater skirt in camel £20

I saw this on the mannequin and few weeks back and fell in love with it. Had a brouse round and found the beauty and it had 15 pounds off! Result! Was very pleased because skater skirts are going to be a big news for s/s 2011 - think Louis Vuitton. Also loving the camel, slightly ashamed to say my first piece of camel coloured clothing. It's very versatile actually.
It's good quality as well. I often find Topshop things don't always last that long but I think this is a winner :)

Set off looking for Barry M red glitter nail varnish, but both Boots and Superdrug failed me. Probably left it too close to Christmas, whoops!

Couldn't pass up the chance either to go to River Island. Part of their sale has started and I can't pass up a sale! I never used to like RI, I don't think I ever looked properly and just passed it up as 'chavy'. You still get a few dodgy pieces but there are some really unique pieces and really on trend. I think their bags are always worth looking at. I had my eye on this Ring clutch because I love how they used McQueen as inspiration with the knuckleduster ring, I already have two leopard print bags though!

I was going to have these for my birthday way back in July, but I didn't fancy paying 8 quid for something I'm potentially going to ladder in a day. I'm not very careful with tights! So I snapped these up pretty quickly because they're similar to Chanel's temporary tattoos.

Overall I'm a happy bunny, went to the pub in the evening too for a long awaited catch up with my friend who's just returned from uni.

Press... :Record:

My first blog post. Peculiar...
Suppose I should introduce myself and what not but who wants to stick to the rules? It'll come later, for now it's nice being unknown and mysterious.

Anyway, I have to begin somewhere so, I decided to start this blog mainly just to keep a record of my life and what I do, so later on I can look back and I can remember what I did when I younger. It's so easy to forget so much in your life, and focus on the main things when really there are all the small things that make you smile.

So, let us commence.

001. Went with the famalam to get the Christmas tree, to our local farm. Lovely and Christmassy in the snow :)
002. Jack Wills wristband that was in my Christmas Cracker today - my mum puts my brother and I three crackers in the tree and we have some little treats before Christmas! Sweeeet. I'd quite like the rest of the colours now, but they've sold out!
003. Primark stag Union Jack cushion, slightly creepy yet amazing at the same time. It'll fit perfectly in the Jack Wills room which I will get round to decorating one day...
