July Favourites

Seven months of 2012 gone and we've only had about two weeks worth of sun! Take me to Turkey immediately. It's not all bad though as now I know exactly what I want (clothes wise) for the Autumn!

I've dubbed these 'Landscape Leggings' as I'm not sure what else to call them! Printed maybe? Printed sounds a bit plain though, which by far, they are not. My favourite pairs are the two either end - what are yours?

I completely blame Primark and a tonne of Bloggers for making me want a leather skirt - pleated preferred!

I saw a studded bow in Topshop the other day, I think it would look so cute as a little bow tie or even as a hair bow!

I keep looking at spiked headbands in Topshop but I can't pluck up the courage to buy one - looking like the Statue of Liberty just sits at the back of my mind! Yes, no?

Pearls are a nice change from all the studs and spikes going around at the moment! I think pearls and studs together though would look amazing!

I've featured ombre once in my favourites before but it just keeps reinventing itself! I want a pair of ombre tights for A/W and that ombre blazer will forever be in my heart ♥

Missguided A/W 12

I found the new Missguided A/W collection today and felt I just had to share as it's a Blogger's paradise! It's full of embellishment which I love when it comes to A/W clothes - if you like studs, spikes and sequins then I'm sure it'll be right up your street! Not forgetting that Missguided is actually reasonably priced!

Is it bad I'm already spotting some potential Christmas party dresses?! My top three pieces are:

- The simple white blouse with collar tips pocket tips on the pockets (I never thought about putting collar tips anywhere else!)

- The classic simple cream blazer, totally turned around my some contrasting spiked shoulders, POW!

- The fierce spiked and studded skirt, you definitely wouldn't want to bump into that!

What Happened In July

Sorry, I've been a bit MIA! Like most of the nation I've got a bit caught up in with the Olympics, I'm currently favouring the TV over the internet - most rare!

July was quite fun filled. I went camping in the pouring rain, did some intense shopping on Oxford Street, turned 20, the Olympic torch came through my town on my Birthday, I had my braces off after two whole years, my friend and I did some epic planning, a mini heatwave - cue sunbathing, the Olympics began and then I went to watch the Cross Country!

A/W Outfit #1

Even though it's still Summer (ahem!) I've been thinking about autumn and winter outfits for a good few months now! Even more so now with autumn pieces starting to creep into shops and the truly British weather we've had!

I went a bit OTT with all the gold studs/detailing but those boots were just too gorgeous not to add! £80 is usually more than I'd spend on a pair of boots but if you wanted the Chloe ones then they're just a fraction of the price.

I'm waiting for the shirt to hopefully go in the sale, £36 is just a bit too much for me when it comes to a pretty simple shirt! Le sigh. ...If I had all the money in the world!

Floral Pleats

I'm so excited to be posting my first ever outfit pictures from my new camera! You can see how drastic the change in quality is from my last outfit post! I'm still playing around with the numerous settings and effects, I'm discovering something new everyday. My favourite feature so far is definitely 'Live mode', you can connect the camera up to your laptop so you can see how well the picture's going to come out and where you're pointing the camera - makes outfit posts much easier and you don't have to faff around uploading the pictures as they can go straight onto your computer! Also makes me feel like I'm on BINTM ;) Who's been watching it?

I've had this dress for years now but it still makes an appearance every Summer. I love the pleats and vintagey feel to it, it's light and airy too. I really wanted to wear it with brogues and frilly socks but it's far too hot for socks! Instead I went for my Primark studded loafers which I was ecstatic to find as they only cost £10 rather than the £28 Topshop ones!  

Off to go and catch some more rays (I have some cray cray tan lines) and then take a new set of outfit pictures :)
